Purpose of the Job:

This executive role ensures the effective and efficient management of all commercial projects and personnel including but not limited to meeting schedules/deadlines, building relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, etc., meeting budgets, quality metrics and safety standards. Manages work of Project Managers, General Superintendents, Superintendents and Assistant Project Managers.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensures projects are executed within appropriate budgets and within the required schedules
  • Manages employees through effective communication and feedback, accountability to schedules and metrics and maintaining high motivation
  • Ensures all project schedules and weekly updates are complete and on target

Other Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains relationships with employees, Project Owners, General Contractors, Architects and Engineers
  • Facilitates internal and external meetings as needed
  • Ensures weekly project schedule updates and pictures are sent to owners and internal company leadership
  • Ensures projects are maintained within budget
  • Manages department budget
  • Manages subcontractors and relevant accounts payables
  • Coordinates with Sales, Accounting, Procurement and Field personnel as needed
  • Leads by example


  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business or related field.
  • 5 years’ work experience preferably in the construction industry

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Requires extensive management experience
  • Requires history of multiple, large commercial project experience
  • Experience in executive positions preferred
  • Must have strong organizational skills to manage large amount of detail
  • Must have the ability to plan out tasks proactively
  • Must have strong communication skills with many levels of business associates
  • Should understand the construction process
  • Self-motivated, self-starter
  • Ability to use basic office equipment – phone, computer, copier

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Valid, Texas Drivers’ License is required

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work on computer for long periods
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for long periods

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • Some PPE may be required based on the job site

Work Environment/Hours:

  • This position works in the field at construction job sites as needed
  • Hours may vary based on weather, production schedule and other factors. This role should work during daily construction schedule

Primary Work Location:

  • Frisco, TX

Travel Requirements:

  • No travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
